I have a six inch blade with a four inch hilt and I was wondering if it was legal to carry in public if it was on a sheath on my belt in the state of missouri. It is a hunting/survival knife. also what is the limit on blades one person can carry?
It is a fixed blade.
It’s not just state laws you have to worry about. Most cities also have their own ordinances that will limit the size of the knife you can carry.
i know they arent real and they wont be real, but i just want to know what your opinions are as to how throwing Knives will take down a zombie?
what about throwing darts? or blow guns?
nope, i’d say the skull’s too thick to reliably get a throwing knife to the brain. Your best bet is some kind of bludgeoning weapon that can cause severe brain trauma
My boyfriend has been talking about wanting a good hunting knife, more as a survival tool just in case. What are some good ones?? I saw some that were not that expensive that looked nice and had good reviews, and saw some that are a little pricier also with good reviews. Is it worth it to splurge, or are the less expensive ones nice too? What one specifically would you recommend?
Hard to beat a Buck hunting knife along the lines of their 119 Special. Cost about 50 bucks and has a full tang in case you damage the handle, you still have the tang to hold onto. I’ve never seen this happen but that’s the reason for a full tang knife.
Buck Knives have a great guarantee and pretty much no questions asked. I’ve used mine for about 20 years now and along with my own deer, I have skinned and butchered the rest of the camps deer. So, I’ve cleaned about 130 deer with just that knife.
As the title states, i need to know how to make throwing Knives.. Its a little project i’ve been thinking about, and i’m starting tomorrow. I pretty much have everything i need.. Hammers, and anvil (in my case a big chunk of steel), and of course fire. Now, does it matter what kinda steel i use? Because i have a bucket of ridiculous size bolts laying around, i figured i could use those? Any tips would be appreciated!
sign someone else’s name on them.
