I’m curious, what knife/Knives do you carry when hunting?

Also: Yahoo actually recommended the right section. Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I used the word "hunting" multiple times.

It is a fixed blade.

It’s not just state laws you have to worry about. Most cities also have their own ordinances that will limit the size of the knife you can carry.

What are some good ones?? I saw some that were not that expensive that looked nice and had good reviews, and saw some that are a little pricier also with good reviews. Is it worth it to splurge, or are the less expensive ones nice too? What one specifically would you recommend?

Hard to beat a Buck hunting knife along the lines of their 119 Special. Cost about 50 bucks and has a full tang in case you damage the handle, you still have the tang to hold onto. I’ve never seen this happen but that’s the reason for a full tang knife.

Buck Knives have a great guarantee and pretty much no questions asked. I’ve used mine for about 20 years now and along with my own deer, I have skinned and butchered the rest of the camps deer. So, I’ve cleaned about 130 deer with just that knife.
