I want to buy a couple of really good knives (read: three at between $150-$300 a piece), and would like to get a magnetic knife holder to mount on the wall to display them while they are not in use.
Is it safe to store that expensive a knife on a magnetic holder, provided it is mounted securely?
Will it ruin the blade over time or anything?
