I have never heard of hunting with Throwing Knives…
im just getting into knife throwing and im more interested in ralph thorns no spin throw, i need a cheaper, beginner knife for the no spin throw, and suggestions?
iv never heard of no spin throw but my favorite are black widow throwing Knives and the mini ones also that are only like 7” long and they are high quality and cheap.
My dad bought me a set of throwing Knives and we want to know the best way to throw them.
thats a kool dad btw
but the best way to throw them is to grab them by the blade and when u throw them make sure ut elbows are straight and u throw them not from the side or ur body like a jab but straight ahead
I have both and Throwing Knives were way harder to learn but people think the stars are cooler but i think knives are i have so much more respect for Knives lol
I think they are both pretty cool as long as you know how to throw them.

I was wondering which Martial Art will teach throwing Knives? Also what skill level in the martial art would you have to be. And the main throwing knife I was thinking of is the kunai knife, is this a good option of throwing knife. Sorry for all the questions but I am getting interested in this stuff and don’t know a lot about it and am hoping you guys can help me. Thanks!
The kunai was not strictly a throwing knife. In fact the traditional kunai was kind of like a trowel and used to dig with. It was more of a striking weapon than a throwing one. Now that being said it could have been thrown, but it wasn’t a normal thing. It also wasn’t usually sharpened except at the point. But, what you are looking for is Shurikenjutsu. It is the art of throwing blades. This includes throwing star shaped weapons, long-thin weapons (bo shuriken), and knives. Arts that teach this vary and are kind of hard to come by, but generally you will find them in Ninjutsu (Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu), some styles of Ju Jutsu (not jiu jitsu), perhaps phillipino martial arts, and then there are also various people out there that are professional knife throwers that may be able to teach you also.
