I recently got a …
I recently got a few throwing knives, and they dont seem to be too sharp. Does it make a big difference? When I throw them, the knife is hitting the board on the side, not straight in the tip. What can I do to get around this? Also, I was throwing the knives at a particle board, rather than regular wood. Would that have anything to do with it?

yes, that is why …
yes, that is why you calculate how many spins you need for the distance you are throwing. The knife makes one half rotation the way I throw it and then sticks into the board. I could step back farther and make it rotate 1 and a half times to make it stick in, or step back even farther and make it stick after 2 and a half rotations.

how do you make it so that the knife is what hits the board? i may be completely wrong but if it’s spinning wouldn’t there be a 50/50 chance that it would actually hit with the blade?
