also you should get ...
also you should get the kraton G handle ka bar over the stacked leather handle one. cuz same story as the sheath. the handle will absorb water and swell up and take a while 2 dry. kraton g will also provide a better grip then leather.

also to prevent the ...
also to prevent the 1095 carbon steel from rusting or staining just cover your blade in oil. like gun oil hops 9 gun oil will work. theres a lot of different oils that prevent rust out there. also if you get the 1095 steel you should get the kydex sheath over the leather sheath. cuz leather will absorb and transfer water 2 your blade and if its not water resistant then thats no good. but if ur blade is oiled it will be ok but still might as well get the better sheath.

i find this knife ...
i find this knife useful for splitting smaller wood. I was turned off by the serrated back end. I was scared to damage it if i use that to split. Is this true? I do own this knife and the heavy bowie and the k2 g10 tactical knife.

I love how you have so many versions of the same knife. it really helps.

kaskrinmasland: I ...
kaskrinmasland: I like how you've spent the time to watch a ten minute video regarding a user's knowledge and experiences with several types of combat knives - and you've chosen only to comment about his mispronunciation of KABAR.

nutnfancy: Although I don't have an extended history of collecting, or using knives, I can certainly appreciate the utility of such tools after your video. It was interesting and informativel - thanks for posting!
