I am a soldier coming home from Korea, I have acquired a few knives of various sizes, nothing too ridiculous. I was planning on putting them in one of my checked bags, will customs have a problem with this?
Jst coming back from Afghanistan and i brought back 4 Knives. As long as they are in your checked baggage in a sheath, and not spring loaded your fine. I brought back a 16 in "Rambo" knife. They pulled it out looked at it and put it back in and sent me through the line
Will knives in a checked bag make it through customs?

No. You could pack a sword in your checked luggage and it would be OK:

There may be restrictions on switch-blade type knives so check if that would be an issue.

US Customs allows knives to be brought into the US, just no switchblades or spring loaded knives. Just be sure to check your airlines rules regarding knives, and pack them in your checked luggage. Here’s the US Customs webpage regarding knives:
