Eickhorn Pohl Two VS Gerber LMF II green Review. I do a lot of hiking , shelder building , camping etc etc Gerber MLF was my right hand but then it was not practical for the simple things , like cuting your steak .. also the black blade coating was all over my dinner ,, additional to that the MLF turns Not to be the ideal Hiking camping knife ,, i love it for choping wood but it always reminds you that is hunging from your belt on long 20klm+ hikes.. Pohl does it all ,, i had to grind some bits ( finger prodector and glass breaker ) ,, now is good to go. The Pohl shealth also needs some minor modification to hold the knive firmly but that is fixable two. Remember a good fix blade is the one that extends in one solid piece all the way back to the hanndle.. .. enjoy nature .. Regards Manos. Cyprus.

Not all inexpensive Knives are poor quality.
This is a 20+ year old knife that cost less than $20 and was a ‘go to’ knife for many years

This is my Cold Steel, Trail Master fixed blade. I use this knife when I go camping or if I just want to get a fire started. It works great and is very strong. This steel is fine.
