i was thinking if i just buy thick cork board and put it on my wall itd be perfect to throw my throwing Knives at, but if anyone has any other good ideas or from experience thatd be nice:) just please nothing expensive.
A dart board works well for practice. It is thick enough so that the knives don’t go all the way through to the wall. Put a larger piece of plywood behind it, like 4 feet x 4 feet, for when you miss. Also you may want to pull off the wire frame from the front of the dart board.
Where can i buy thick cork board? Or what is good for throwing knives?

Bass wood would probably be best but that crappy southern pine would work too. Most of the lumber sold at the big box stores is southern pine.

If you don’t mind ordering online there are some inexpensive actual throwing knife targets that’ll help you hone your accuracy: http://www.amazon.com/mn/search/?_encoding=UTF8&tag=thmiofsp-20&linkCode=ur2&camp=1789&creative=390957&field-keywords=throwing%20knife%20target&url=search-alias%3Daps&sprefix=throwing%20knife%20t
